8.1 CoIP Launcher Installation Using the Silent Installer

In most instances, the CoIP Launcher can be installed automatically, upon user's first sign-on into the web-based CoIP Launcher.  However, for certain types of user access (CoIP Access, Port-Mapped Application Access), the installation of some components requires administrative privileges.  If the user does not have administrative privileges and the computer is managed by an IT organization, then the IT organization can use the silent installer on the users' machines prior to users' first sign-in.

 The below packages and instructions refer to zCenter version 8.1.1.  Check our support site, support.zentera.net, for up-to-date links to the most recent version of the silent installer.

How to Install

• Windows

  • coiplauncher-cam-win-8.1.1-1.exe /S

• Linux

  • chmod +x coiplauncher-cam-linux-8.1.1-1.pkg
    sudo ./coiplauncher-cam-linux-8.1.1-1.pkg

• MacOS

  • sudo installer -pkg "zcas-darwin-8.1.1-1.x86_64.pkg" -target /
