Requires: Service Admin privilege

Certain zCenter functions or events trigger email notifications to administrators or users. These include:

• MFA for locally-authenticated users, if configured

• Password recovery for locally-authenticated users

• Service health notifications (low disk space, etc)

• Security notifications

To use these functions, you must first configure an SMTP service.

Configuring the SMTP service

From Advanced Mode > Service Management > SMTP, enter the information and credentials needed to connect to your SMTP server.

Test the configuration; if it passes, you may save the settings.
